The Shed

Just a hard working mother who taught herself to sew to kill the boredom of having too much spare time while her child grows into an independent teenager and to find other things to fill her life with other than working and looking after family and home . As I learned skills, both hand sewing and using a machine, I started thinking of my own designs and making pretty things for my home . Friends , family and colleagues saw what I was producing and started asking me to make gifts for their loved ones. Now .....here I am making many different novelty accessories in multiples due to demand and selling at local Craft events on the advice of my much needed and helpful friends . Please take your time to browse at my products and do not hesitate to contact me if you should have any queries or would like to make a purchase . Everything I make is designed and crafted by me , so each gift / home accessory is totally unique. I can also make special gifts / accessories specific to your tastes and needs . It grew out of a frustration of not being able to find good quality gifts with the ability to have them "tweaked" and made a bit more personal and not cost the earth. Crafty Ponies are a great gift for a pony mad child! The kits make up into wonderful stuffed toy ponies complete with realistic tack and equipment! Crafty Ponies are easy to make up and help and encourage children to sew and make things, there are lots of how to sew films on the educationaal website. We have a horse riding school in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and have have produced teaching films about pony care that children can watch and then practice with their own Crafty Ponies! Hello, I make pretty jointed keepsake bears made from lovely cotton fabrics and Memory bears made from baby/children's clothes. All of my bears in my stall are made to order. Due to the handmade nature of my bears, they are not suitable for children, and they are not toys. Not suitable for children under 14 years.
