BOOK NOW for CRAFTfest Best of British - 26th - 28th February 2016

Previously our events ran on a separate social network for crafters (Creative Connections) giving a fabulous community feel. This did however, mean that each of our participants had to find the time to upload all of their products onto the network, add descriptions and links etc to each one so that the customers could purchase from them. This also meant that the initial point of contact was always through the network itself and unless the customers clicked through a third time (after visiting their virtual stall and then selecting a product) the chance that the customer  made it through to the sellers own website or online store was smaller.

For our New Improved CRAFTfest events we are cutting out the middle man!

Our events will now be held directly on the CRAFTfest website. The window to your stall will take the customer wherever YOU want them to go at the first point of contact. This can be -
  • Your website (home page, specific category or a new page you made especially for the event)
  • Your online store (Etsy, Folksy, Amazon, Ebay …)
  • Your Facebook or other social networking page.
  • Your blog.
  • Any other online space that you use to sell your creations.
  •  An email address (not recommended but possible.
  •  If you do not have any online presence at all we can arrange to host your products for you for an extra cost. Please contact us for information about this.
We will direct the customers wherever you want them to go ensuring that you get the full benefit to your business.

This also means that you have much less preparation work to do and can devote your time to marketing yourself and others who are taking part.

Book your place for £5 here http://craftfest-events.com/booking-form.html

The event we are currently booking for is for UK residents only. If you live outside of the UK please let us know where and if you would like to part in an event. If we can get enough interest we can then organise a CRAFTfest event in your country.

What's involved in taking part? Read more about it here http://craftfest-events.com/how-it-works.html

Come join us at June CRAFTfest 2013!

June CRAFTfest 2013!

The June 2013 CRAFTfest booking forms are NOW OPEN!
Ever fancied being a seller at a craft fair, but never had the opportunity to take part due to family commitments, travel, or costs?

Well, now you can!

The idea of CRAFTfest is to showcase sellers using interactive albums, 'your stall', which allows your sellers to browse and purchase items through an interactive link in your product descriptions, 'your voice'.

Your stall will be open 24 hours a day during the 8 day long event and all of our stall holders will be busy promoting themselves, the event and you throughout this time. Why struggle to promote yourself when you can have hundreds of others promoting with you!

We would love you to join us whether you are old or new!

To take part in one of our events you must complete one of our booking forms.
From 2013 we now offer three tiers of booking:

Standard Stall Booking
(Price is per stall)

Stall + Initial Setup
(Ideal for people new to Creative Connections and CRAFTfest - price includes initial account setup for you on the Network and the creation of an empty stall ready to fill with your items).

Black Team Craftfest - Part 4

And so we progress onto things of a basic need - Soap!  BathbombCreations will not disappoint you!  They have featured recently on the pet stall - but hat is nothing in comparison to their bath and beauty section as you can see from the slideshow below.  You can find them on Facebook, Pinterest and more about their highly anticipated website on their blog.

Find more photos like this on Creative Connections

Next up is the leader of the Black Team.  Soap Art by ScENT.  That would be me but in fairness - I don't make much of the soap.  Carla is the true artist in question and I do not hesitate in anyway from shouting out loudly from the roof-tops that I think her art is nothing short of spectacular!  You can hook up with us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Bizspeaking, Craftjuice, Rebelmouse, Wanelo, WTY, ETSY, Folksy and Stumble Upon.  And here are a few of our items below.

We love buying interesting quirky products, which is getting virtually impossible on the high street nowadays. Nearly every shop seems to stock the same mass produced items, it seems there is nowhere to left to go to buy that something special. Well hold onto your horses because now there is! Having run her own business for numerous years where she has designed, made and retailed her own products, from original art to cards, stationery and gift ware, and finding the demand for things "just that little bit different", going in her favour, Lisa decided to expand online to make her products vailable to a wider audience. With her own unique take on the world and an eye for quality design, throw in a little but of quirkiness coupled with a deep passion about the care that goes into making her products, Lisa aims to provide a trusted friendly environment where her customers can rely on outstanding customer service and great quality products that you will love to purchase as a gift or even just a sneaky treat for yourself!Lisa Mahaffey aims to provide beautiful and quirky gifts for people who want to buy something different, something of quality, something made locally and by doing so also support our economy. We are proud to say that every single one of our products has been designed and/or made in Ireland or the UK.We hope you enjoy shopping with us and if we can be of any assistance please email, we'll do our best to help.

Beautiful, Beautiful Beads

Be welcome to my vision of contemporary beadwork jewellery - Beautiful, Beautiful Beads. The pieces I design are often made using a technique called bead-crochet, which I absolutely love. You'll find a variety of jewellery in my shop that ranges from casual to statement pieces and each one has been created with love and thought. I hope you enjoy having a look around in my Etsy-Shop or visiting my facebook-page and please, don't be shy - contact me, if you have queries regarding my jewellery. OSOperfect
By Claire Fletcher

I started making jewellery in mid-December 2011.
Prior to that I'd never picked up anything jewellery wise that didn't come from a mass production shop.
A friend of mine introduced me and I've never looked back. I adore working with wire, and would love to study to become a silver smith.
I've never felt so at peace as when I make jewellery. This is my first CRAFTfest, and I'm nervous but looking forward to the feedback. My page/business name comes from the fact that I love Bears. They are one of the planet's most amazing creatures. Oso is Spanish for bear and I strive for perfection.

Arabellas Attic
by Sue Robertson
Arabella’s Attic is a small family project based in South East England. We design and hand craft accessories such as tote bags, coin purses, cosmetic bags, hand bags and jewellery, and also make cards based on our own artwork. We love all things retro and vintage, and this is reflected in the items that we make. For our bags and purses, we work with a range of hand picked fabrics of different colours and patterns. Many of the fabrics we use draw on vintage and retro influences – some of these fabrics are from the present day, others are recycled from earlier decades. A major influence for our jewellery is Victoriana, and we like to add a touch of steampunk or gothic to some of our designs. Our cards are based on our own fashion illustrations and art work and again often have a retro look about them. Above all, we love producing one off pieces that are affordable, and that can be treasured and enjoyed.♥
